SUNDAY PENNANT
There is a rich history of inter-club pennant in southern Tasmania, and GST is committed to maintaining this competition format. Sunday Pennant is the top-level pennant in the region, open to all clubs in southern Tasmania. Each year the winners of the top three divisions of GST Sunday Pennant progress to the State Pennant Finals.
All southern Tasmanian clubs are invited to enter teams into Sunday Pennant. Teams may comprise men and/or women players. Teams are arranged into divisions based on the handicaps of the players.
2026 Sunday Pennant
Divisions 1-4 are off-the-stick match play.
Divisions 5-6 are handicap match play.

The results of individual matches and the points tables for all 6 divisions will be available shortly on golf.org.au … in the meantime the results of Round 1 in the upper divisions are:
Division 1 – TAS drew RH (3.5-3.5)
Division 2 – TAS def RH (5-2); KB def CLA (4.5-2.5)
Division 3 – LLA def TAS (4-3); KB lost OAT (2-5)

2026 Sunday Pennant
The rosters for 2026 GST Sunday Pennant are different across the divisions. The season for Divisions 1 – 3 has breaks to allow for intrastate events which impact the availability of low-handicap players. The season for Divisions 4 – 6 is shorter.
